VIN SCULLY - THE VOICE OF THE DODGERS
August 4th, 2022 8:28 PM

Dear Friends,

Los Angeles Dodger fans are saddened by the passing of broadcaster Vin Scully on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022. Vin had numerous qualities that made a Dodger baseball game the highlight of one's day! His tremendous voice and the capacity to recollect various past experiences of Dodger baseball games was fascinating! Vin was able to provide an inherent mass of knowledge of the players and the game itself. He will always be remembered for the skill and his eloquence whenever a Dodger ballgame was aired. His overwhelming voice was earmarked for baseball. Vin reminded me of Detroit Tigers broadcaster Ernie Harwell, as both gentlemen had a distinct voice for the sport and were indoctrinated from a generation when baseball was a game that recognized the blessings of American culture.

Vin's character in helping others will always be recognized for his devout religious activities and the human decency and respect he handed everyone he met. Vin lived a long life of 94 years and will be missed but always remembered!

Sincere condolences to his dear family, friends and Dodger fans. He was truly loved! And by the way, Vin is in Heaven, as he has become the newest broadcaster for the Saints v Angels baseball game that's scheduled millions of miles away from Los Angeles!

Thanks again for your continuous support - during these challenging times in America - a nation under siege.

Be unafraid and courageous. God almighty is with you.
