THE CHRISTMAS TREE
December 20th, 2019 3:35 PM

Dear Friends,

I have a loving relationship with Christmas Trees! Ever since I can remember, I have always had a profound fondness for real or artificial Evergreens in every size or color. During the late 1960's my parents purchased an artificial silver Christmas Tree. Every year thereafter we would assemble the Tree until it finally fell apart before our very eyes! The Tree had a life of its own and several years later our family began to purchase real Trees. The smell of pine in our house was truly wonderful and the scent lasted for many days afterwards.

My love for Christmas Trees continues to this day! When I enter homes of friends or acquaintances I'm able to appreciate the love that was revealed in decorating their Tree. I enjoy large bulbs, fancy ornaments and strands of silver hanging from every Tree branch. When I also enter high rises or banks I appreciate the magnificent Trees of over 7 or 8 feet that adorn the entrance of the bank or the lobby of a commercial building. The Christmas Trees in Churches are always inspiring, if I say so myself!

Below are just a couple of Christmas Trees that I ran across in my travels around town. I'm happy to share my snapshots!

Thanks again for your continuous support.
