Dear Friends,

On Sunday evening I gathered my thoughts on the day's events, and was eager to find the music that would allow me the solace and comfort I was yearning for. By happenstance I came across the recording of Turn, Turn, Turn sung by Judy Collins in 1966. I was only 10 years of age when I heard her voice for the first time and I remember this song well. The melody gained in popularity during the early 1960's. The original songwriter Pete Seeger and music groups known as the Limeliters and The Byrds were recognized for their memorable performances.

The lyrics to this song were derived from Scripture in the Book of Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, as we are reminded "To Everything There Is A Season". When I heard this recording from years past, I was saddened by its far reaching insight in the world we are experiencing today. For those that have acquired the virtue of wisdom, the outbreak of a virus that has abruptly conquered our existence, will give us the time to reflect and contemplate the true meaning of our lives.

"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven"

Thanks again for your continuous support.
