LOOKING FORWARD

Dear Friends,

Today many Americans will be celebrating Halloween. Children will be dressed up as ghosts or ghoulish characters and seeking candy from neighborhoods accustomed to a 'Trick or Treat' refrain. Adults of all mental persuasions will celebrate this day as well. For a few hours grown men and women will be in attire that will shock and baffle those unable or unwilling to join in the festivities, due to circumstances better left unsaid. Nevertheless, one's goal is to have fun and forget the responsibilities and lamentations that have afflicted everyone throughout this country.

In November, there are dates when all Americans have responsibilities to perform their duties. The outcome will coincide with various lamentations if favorable conditions are not forthcoming.

The Mid Term Elections on November 6th, will decide if the narrow path towards peace and prosperity will bless this nation from the chronic hatred in words and deeds we've suffered for a very long time. At this stage of reflection, a pronounced 'red wave' can be viewed as the path recommended for America's healing.

On Veterans Day, November 12th, we will remember the fallen heroes that have sacrificed their lives so we can live in liberty and freedom.

On Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd, we will give thanks to our Lord for the wonderful blessings He has bestowed on America. Concurrently, for those of my generation, we will remember the profound tragedy that occurred on this exact day, 55 years ago.

Tomorrow is All Saints Day and on Friday, it's All Souls Day. I am reminded of the wonderful Saints that have sacrificed their lives in assisting others by their love for the Lord. Their unfailing works are recognized by their fascinating histories through their devotion to an undying faith. On All Souls Day, I remember everyone that had a role in my life, by their encouraging words to never allow despondency to affect one's disposition. Be true to yourself as others will appreciate your discerning presence.

As I age, I can recall the wonderful events that have inspired my love for life. While there have been noted catastrophes in my past, I'm excited the future will allow me to contemplate on how to complete my 'bucket list' as soon as I'm able.

Thanks again for your continuous support.
