LABOR DAY - 2019
August 30th, 2019 6:45 AM

Dear Friends,

The 'official' end of Summer is now upon us, as Labor Day weekend is here! If one does basic research of the most current Bureau of Labor statistics, the information will reveal optimistic figures in US employment.

The government has reported the following statistics as of July of this year:

Current Unemployment Rate - 3.7% - The lowest RATE since 1969.

Unemployment Rate for Women - 3.7% - One of the lowest RATES ever recorded.

Unemployment Rate for African Americans - 6.0% - The lowest RATE ever recorded.

Unemployment Rate for Hispanics - 4.5% - The lowest RATE ever recorded.

Unemployment Rate for Asians - 2.8% - One of the lowest RATES ever recorded.

These are just several of the figures for July.

August statistics will be mentioned next week.

To have a job is crucial for one's well being. Many Americans are celebrating this Labor Day as a blessing from the economic disasters of years past. It's obvious that many Americans are indeed appreciative of those that have helped make their lives prosperous, once again.

Thanks again for your continuous support.
