Dear Friends,
It's that time of year when many of us are in a happier mood!
We'll do our best to forget the trials and tribulation of living in a world where love and compassion can be a hindrance with members of a society, unable or unwilling to end all vestiges of hatred and derision for others.
We've encountered degrees of oppression that have stymied or prevented a full embrace of the Christmas Spirit by actions of powerful interests. I look to my past as this occurrence greatly affected my disposition as a youngster, when a communist government in Cuba was installed by a despot, known as Fidel Castro. Leaving that imprisoned island in 1962 with my brothers without our parents, inflicted its emotional damage, as I view this chapter in my life many years later. Nevertheless, I look to Scripture in Romans 8:28 as it is written 'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.'
These circumstances contributed to the substance of my character as I seek genuine justice and freedom for victims of persecution. I can confidently surmise the 'Peter Pan' children have similar convictions. While my life has had its sad and victorious moments, I am truly blessed and appreciate everyone that has enriched my life.
It was 20 years ago on December 17th that my mother was called home to be with the Lord. Her entrance into eternal life during the Holiday Season can only be viewed as a poignant deliverance from suffering in a fallen world. While these experiences are heartbreaking, my pursuit to secure virtues of patience and wisdom has provided an understanding of the sanctity of life in all of its manifestations.

The true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus.
As His devoted follower, to respect our neighbors throughout the world and to live in peace, is the formulation of a life well lived.
May you and your family have a Very Merry Christmas!

Thanks again for your continuous support.
